What is a group mail?

This function is often used to send thank-you mails or some kind of other global message to your contacts in their own language.

Attention: This is not for e-mail invitations!

There are two ways to send group mails.

  • From your panels:To send a group mail, follow these steps:
    1. Sign in to CheckMarket.
    2. Click on the tab Panels.
    3. Select the panel you wish to send group mail.
    4. Click on Group mailing.
    5. Change the content of your mail.
    6. Click on Send.
  • In the panel of a survey:To send a group mail to a survey panel or subset of one, follow these steps:
    1. Sign in to CheckMarket.
    2. Click on the tab Surveys.
    3. Click on the title of your survey.
    4. Click on Distribute.
    5. Click on Panellists.
    6. Select the persons you want to send an e-mail to, optionally you can set any filters you want.
    7. Click on Group mailing.
    8. Change the content of your mail.
    9. Click on Send.

On this page you see the Rich Text (HTML) Editor, which lets you edit the e-mail text.

Below that you edit the Alternate plaintext body of the mail, for panelists with e-mail clients that don’t understand HTML.

You can manually add addresses by placing one name and e-mail address per line, divided by a semicolon (;). If you do not know the name, add only the e-mail address.

You can use HTML directly in the text box of the message and use variables from your panel data as in an e-mail invitation.

Use a valid Reply address. If you don’t, no e-mails will be sent. This is an anti-spam regulation.

Each mail costs 0,08 EUR. All the mails you send with our system in each billing period, such as invitations, reminders, group mails, etc. are added together and a volume discount is calculated. More information about volume discounts is available on our Pricing page.
