Add an info balloon

Using an Info Balloon you can make important information jump out. Your text will be highlighted and thus draw the attention of your respondents even more. You can also use this feature in hidden questions in order to provide additional instructions for your colleagues.

You can add this info balloon to the introduction questions, answer options and the thank-you page.

Add an info balloon to a question

  1. Sign in to CheckMarket
  2. Open your survey and click Edit.
  3. Add a new question by clicking on Add question icon or click the pencil icon pencil icon to edit an existing question.
  4. Click on Load text editor.

  1. Click on the HTML tab.
  2. Paste the following code into this tab:
     
    <div class="messageBallonInfo">
    Your highlighted text</div>

     
    All text outside of this code will appear normally. The text within the code will be surrounded by a yellow box.

  1. Click on Save.

The infoballoon will look like this in your survey:

You can add an info balloon to your answer options by pasting the HTML code directly in the answer options text field.

 

Add an info balloon to the introduction or thank-you page

  1. Sign in to CheckMarket
  2. Open your survey and click Edit.
  3. Click anywhere on the text of the introduction or thank-you page so a task bar appears.
  4. Click on the source code button to open the HTML version.

  1. Paste the following code into this window:

    All text outside of this code will appear normally. The text within the code will be surrounded by a yellow box.

  1. Click on Ok.

You can add an info balloon to your answer options by pasting the HTML code directly in the answer options text field.

Within this info balloon you can still add hyperlinks, put text in bold, etc. by using the editing options in the Design view or via the task bar that appears when you edit inline.
