Distribute a survey using social media

Social media are becoming a more and more integral part of our daily lives. Needless to say these are channels you should keep in mind when trying to reach a specific audience.

CheckMarket has therefore made it easy for you to post your survey link on the big 3 social media channels: Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. All without having to leave the tool.

If you wish to contact respondents via another social media channel, you can simply generate a short URL with our tool that you can the use to post a message on the social media of your choice.

 

Generate a short URL

  1. Sign in to CheckMarket.
  2. Click on the survey you wish to post on a social media site.
  3. Click on Distribute and select Add / Remove channel.
  4. Tick the options Via Web and Link / Social media.
  5. Click on Save.
  6. In the Distribute overview click the link Survey URL.
  7. Open the Social Media tab and click on the button Generate.

  1. For each available survey language a short URL will be generated. Additionally you will receive a short URL to the language selection page.

Paste this short URL in the social media of your choice and add a compelling message that will really engage visitors to click on your link.

 

Some tips

  • Encourage respondents to share your survey link. You will reach even more people that way!
  • Add an image to your post. This way it stands out more and people will be more likely to click on it.
  • An incentive works wonders for your response rate.
  • Many social media visitors only use their smartphone while doing so. Make sure your survey is fit for mobile.
