Limit the number of respondents for a survey

You may want to set a maximum number of respondents for your survey. CheckMarket allows you to limit the number of respondents, and/or the amount of completes. Once either of these limits is reached, the survey will be closed automatically. For fine-grained control use use survey quotas.

  1. Go to your survey and click on Settings and then Options.
  2. Check Set a max respondent count, fill out the maximum number of required completes and/or respondents and click on Save.
  • Maximum completes: This is the maximum number of respondents that completely filled out the survey. When this number is reached, the survey will be closed.
  • Maximum respondents: This is the maximum number of respondents that (partially or completely) filled out the survey. When this number is reached, the survey will be closed.

If you don’t want to set a maximum, just leave the input box blank.

Tip: If you have specific demographic requirements for your survey sample you can easily add quotas based on contact data or responses provided to single-select questions.
