Building multi-tiered reports

CheckMarket supports multi-tiered reporting with benchmarking capabilities built it. In other words, you can configure reports so that CheckMarket visitors (those who do not work with CheckMarket but who view reports) are shown only the data that they are allowed to see. To do this, you can create a report per tier. Let's look at

Adding extra data sources to elements in reports

Data sources in Report Builder provide the data that is used in a specific element. This can be one or more questions or it may be metadata that was passed to the survey. For additional information on data sources and elements in Report Builder, including definitions and examples, see Add a report element. To add extra data

Survey text analysis: tagging

CheckMarket’s survey text analysis is fast and easy-to-use. Categorize responses and then go in-depth with sentiment analysis.

Net Sentiment Score

Track sentiment on a timeline to spot trends faster! Use Net Sentiment Score (NSS) which is the percent of positive sentiment minus the negative sentiment.

Create a survey report

Create a survey report or dashboard using our powerful ReportBuilder. Once it is ready, you can share it with others.

Report element types

The type determines how the data will be visualized to convey information and more than that, to provide insights into the survey results.

Filtering survey reports

Filtering is a great way to narrow the results, gaining new insights to how different groups responded to your survey, and to see how different variables are related.

Survey Report Benchmarks

Benchmarks can be used to compare the current period vs. the previous period or to compare a selection of your respondents to all respondents or to set a fixed target value.

Report element breakout

Break out the information in an element into groups based on other data. For instance, display the satisfaction score for each of your stores side-by-side.

Share a survey report

Share your survey report by creating share links, each with different filters, depending on what you want viewers to see.

Basic report element properties

Report elements share some basic settings which we cover here. Properties and settings that are specific to an element type are covered in other articles.

Report style and themes

You can fully customize the style of your survey report. Use your own logo, colors, fonts, etc. and then save as a reusable theme to apply to other reports.

Element Type: Text & media

Use the text & media element type in your survey reports, when you want to add a heading or some explanatory text.

Add a report element

An element is a building block of a survey report. This can be a chart, score-card, cross-tab, free text, etc. You can create multiple elements for each question.

Copy a report element

Duplicating an element is a fast way to have multiple elements that are similar, but vary slightly like having a different filter.

Delete a report element

Delete report elements that you no longer need by selecting these elements and clicking on ‘Delete element’ in the top-right menu.

Add sentiments to text analysis tags

While applying tags you can also add a sentiment. Tags with a sentiment automatically receive a color code: red for negative, grey for neutral and green for positive.

Resize a report element

You can resize report elements to place them next to each other instead of underneath each other. This is how you create dashboards.

Analyze survey tags

After the tagging is done, it is time to start analyzing the tags and search for insights.
