Data labels for your questions

When you download the raw data of your survey in Excel or SPSS, you will see that each column contains your entire question.

To make the analysis easier, you can use data labels to change these column titles. It helps you to spot immediately what that particular question was about. At the same time, as data labels are shorter, the text wraps nicely into the column and isn’t cut off anymore.

Your report will go from this:

raw data with question

to this:

raw data with labels

As long as your survey is still in development, you can add these data labels while creating your questions. Once the survey is live (or closed) you can still add or change your data labels via the report with charts.
